2️⃣Therapeutic class :-

✒️OBNID-CAL™M Suspension is specially formulated to support and promote healthy bone and body growth because it contains a unique triple combination of calcium carbonate, Vitamin D, and L-Lysine, which is essential for healthy body growth and normal bone formation.

✒️OBNID-CAL™ Suspension is contains the amino acid L-Lysine complex with calcium and vitamin D, to promote normal bone growth because it contains a calcium generate from a natural source and thus maintains good levelso f calcium in the blood.

✒️The unique combination of Calcium Carbonate, the amino acid L-Lysine and Vitamin D, is compensatory a nutrient that is very important for the health and growth of the vital human body.

 ✒️L-Lysine and Vitamin D, play as co-factors role in increasing intestinal absorption of calcium and reducing renal excretion of calcium to support healthy bone formation and increase growth in the body and for the prophylactic treatment of osteoporosis, Vitamin D, plays a very important role as an adjunct.

◾Each 5 ml (one teaspoonful ) contains:-

🖱️Calcium Carbonate 375 mg

(Equivalent to Elemental Calcium 150 mg)

🖱️L-Lysine Hydrochloride USP 44 mg

🖱️Vitamin D3 IP 400 IU

◾In flavored syrupy base q.s.

◾Colour: Snset Yellow

4️⃣Pharmacological properties:-

1-Pharmacodynamics :-

◾Increases plasma calcium levels leading to a decrease in calcium flux and increase in calcium deposition into bones

2- Pharmacokinetics:-

💡Absorption:-

◾Oral dose is actively absorbed in the duodenum and proximal jejunum and, to a lesser extent, in the distal part of the small intestine.

💡Distribution:-

◾Enters the extracellular fluid and is incorporated rapidly into skeletal tissue. 

◾Bone contains 99% of the total calcium; 1% is distributed equally between the intracellular and extracellular fluids.

◾CSF levels are about 50% of serum calcium levels

💡Metabolism: non significant 

🎙️Excretion:-

◾Excreted mainly in the faeces as unabsorbed calcium that was secreted through bile and pancreatic juice into the lumen of the GI tract.

◾Most calcium entering the kidneys is reabsorbed in the loop of Henle and the proximal and Distal convoluted tubes. 

◾Only small amounts of calcium are excreted in the urine.

5- Indications:-

1. This medication is recommended for vitamin D deficiency and low amounts of calcium in the blood.

2. Helps prevent osteoporosis and treat cases of osteoporosis and osteomalacia, and also helps reduce the level of calcium in the blood.

3- It helps in increasing the force of contraction of the heart and supports healthy bone formation.

4. In the growth stages, where it helps in the growth and formation of healthy and healthy bones.

5. promotes healthy growth of the body and bones for children and adolescents in puberty.

6- Diarrhea in malnutrition of children and adult.

7- It is recommended to help prevent cases of calcium deficiency in the advanced stages of life for the elderly.

7- Contra-Indications:-

. 🌐Hypersensitivity to OBNID-CAL™ suspension is a contraindication.

🌐In addition, OBNID-CAL™M Suspension should not be used if you have the following conditions:-

☢️High calcium levels High lysine in blood or urine

☢️Hypersensitivity

☢️Irregular heart beat

☢️Kidney disease or kidney related problems

☢️Kidney stone

☢️Large doses taken by mouth or by IV

8- Interaction with other drugs:-

◾OBNID-CAL TM suspension may interact with the following drugs and products:-

10- Side effects:-

◾In addition to the desire effect of OBNID-CAL™ suspension, some side effects may appear in rare cases such as:-

11- Storage condition:-
